The Power of Prayer

Look back at your life and have you experienced miracles? Well i have and i believe that the miracles were works of God and it shows that God really do exist. God is our father and he loves us , ask and you shall receive from him. I’ve got to be honest, a few years back i was not a very good christian, i didn’t pray and  didn’t talked to God alot. But things change when something really bad happen to our family, my dad got the news that he had cancer and a tumor was growing in one of his kidneys.  I felt so helpless and sad that i couldn’t do anything to change things, the only thing i could do is to pray.

Every night i prayed and tell God that me and my mum still needs my dad in our lives, i still got so much to learn from him and i regretted putting my friends first before family, i didn’t spend enough time with them. So as a family we went to pray tgt with a priest in church before his operation…. And THANK the Lord above that it turned out fine and my dad has been well ever since. I look at it as a wake up call for my dad to stop smoking (we’ve always tried to tell him to stop, he was smoking too much and for too long alr) and also for me to spend more time with him. Things really do happen for a reason.

Ever since then, every day i pray and tell God what i want and each and every night i thank God for all the blessings he’s given to me.

(Mark 11:24-25) 24 Therefore I tell you, all things whatever you pray and ask for, believe that you have received them, and you shall have them. 25 Whenever you stand praying, forgive, if you have anything against anyone; so that your Father, who is in heaven, may also forgive you your transgressions.

(Matthew 6:6) But when you pray, go into your room, close the door and pray to your Father, who is unseen. Then your Father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you.

(Jeremiah 29:11-12.) “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to proper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Then you will call upon me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you.”

(Mark 11:22, 24) “Have faith in God,” Jesus answered. Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you will receive it, and it will be yours.
(Psalm 107:28-30) “Then they cried out to the LORD in their trouble, and he brought them out of their distress. He stilled the storm to a whisper; the waves of the sea were hushed. They were glad when it grew calm, and he guided them to their desired haven.”

Just don’t pray like this guy haha…

ok i’m gonna try to make it a thing to blog bout Christianity every Sunday haha
