Whenever i feel low and just have zero confidence in myself, i say a lil prayer and ask God for strength. I really do feel like i can do so many things in life because i know he’s got my back. He has a great plan for all of us, our job is to work hard, pray hard ,watch the magic happen and thank God. When I was in Houston, I saw a telecast of a preaching from Joel Osteen. It was about crediting all of what we have, our successes , our blessings and our talents to God. We can’t say it was ALL because of us. It was actually all because of him, he gave us strength, health and every blessing needed to reach our goals.
“If you are going to continue to see God’s favor then you need to be quick to give him the credit. We were never created to contain glory we were created to give God glory. The higher we go the more humility we have to walk with. The more God promotes us the more grateful we should be. We are not supposed to go around taking credit for all of our accomplishments, when you do that you are taking what belongs to God. You can’t contain all the glory; God will not share his Glory. If you’re taking all the credit acting like you made it all happen on your own then at some point God will remove his hand of favor to make sure that you realize where the credit really belongs.
1 PETER 5:6
Humble yourself, over the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time.
If we don’t humble ourselves God will humble us. If we don’t give him the credit recognizing that it was his goodness that got us where we are then God has a way to get our attention. We can come down a lot quicker than we go up.
God apposes the proud but he gives favor to the humble. When you walk in humility being quick to give God the credit he will take you places you never imagined. It’s not how talented, smart or educated you are. What really matter is do you have the favor of God in your life. There are so many people who are extremely talented but they are so stuck on themselves that they are not seeing God’s favor like they should.” -Joel Osteen
