Happiness has a habit of pursuing the person who feels grateful to his God,
comfortable with his conscience,
in favour with his friends,
in love with his labours
and in balance with his bank.
– William Ward
The best remedy for those who are afraid,
lonely or unhappy is to go outside, somewhere where they can be quiet,
alone with the heavens, nature and God.
Because only then does one feel that all is as it should be and that God wishes to see people happy,
amidst the simple beauty of nature.
For everything there is a season,
And a time for every matter under heaven:
A time to be born, and a time to die;
A time to plant, and a time to pluck up what is planted;
A time to kill, and a time to heal;
A time to break down, and a time to build up;
A time to weep, and a time to laugh;
A time to mourn, and a time to dance;
A time to throw away stones, and a time to gather stones together;
A time to embrace, And a time to refrain from embracing;
A time to seek, and a time to lose;
A time to keep, and a time to throw away;
A time to tear, and a time to sew;
A time to keep silence, and a time to speak;
A time to love, and a time to hate,
A time for war, and a time for peace.
Happiness is simply the opposite of sadness as well as the cure for sadness. When we’re sad we constantly look for ways to make us happy. For me , I used go for retail and binge therapy. Come to think of it, being sad just makes me poor and fat. SO it didn’t quite work out for me cuz the after effects of retail and binge therapy makes me even sadder. So what to do to make me happy when i’m sad and not gain weight and lose cash? Pray and walk. Praying is free, walking loses weight and you become happy. Win-win. Listen to what Anne Frank said, go outside, take a walk and talk to GOD. He has all the answers and reasons why some stuff made you sad. I believe that everything happens for a reason good or bad. And once we know the reasons, we become less sadder.
